Kuehne+Nagel’s 27 August update: Ningbo is at Level I with terminals, yards (from 06:00) and warehouses (from 14:00) offline; Shanghai Yangshan halted all operations at 06:00 and Waigaoqiao suspended empty-container operations from 14:00, with landfall expected around midday 28 August in southern Zhejiang.

A joint west-coast ports study released 26 August says the three B.C. gateways moved more than 200 million metric tonnes of cargo in 2025, worth $409 billion, including two-way container trade with Asia.

Port of Vancouver completes Fraser Surrey road and rail upgrades
Port Technology International reports the Vancouver Fraser Port Authority has finished Fraser Surrey Port Lands transportation work, including a dedicated inbound truck lane to DP World Fraser Surrey, which VFPA says is designed to halve inbound container truck transit times.

Port of Montreal starts in-water work on Contrecœur terminal
