China–Canada
freight services

What we provide

Ocean FCL and LCL, air freight, in-bond inland movement, customs coordination, and truck delivery across Canada. Special cargo on request — ask us first.

Ocean freight

FCL and LCL from China ports that already feed Canada — typically Shanghai, Ningbo, Shenzhen / Yantian, Qingdao, Xiamen, Tianjin — to Vancouver, Prince Rupert, or Montreal, then inland.

Air freight

Airport-to-airport and door-to-door air cargo from China to YVR or YYZ. MAWB/HAWB and ACI handled with the booking. Use air when the clock matters more than the ocean rate.

Customs & bonded

House-bill reporting (ACI / eHBL), in-bond movement beyond the first port of arrival, and customs brokerage coordination. We are not the broker.

Inland Canada

Truck from port or airport to Winnipeg and across Canada — after release, or in bond to an inland sufferance point.

Work process

Inquire → Quote → Pickup in China → International lift → Bonded receive / customs → Canadian delivery.

[01]
Inquire and quote

Send origin (city or port in China), Canadian destination, ready date, pieces / CBM / weight, commodity and HS if known, and incoterm (EXW, FOB, CIF, DAP, DDP, or other). Say if cargo should clear at the first port or move in bond. We come back with a lane plan — FCL, LCL, or air — and a rate.

[02]
Pickup and lift

Origin pickup in China, export documents, and ocean or air lift to a Canadian gateway. Typical ocean arrivals: Vancouver, Prince Rupert, Montreal. Typical air: YVR, YYZ. You get the ocean B/L or MAWB/HAWB reference once the cargo is lifted.

[03]
Bonded receive and customs

House-bill reporting (ACI / eHBL as required). As a bonded freight forwarder we can move cargo in bond beyond the first port of arrival and between sufferance warehouses. We coordinate CBSA release and CARM timing with your licensed broker — we are not the broker.

[04]
Canadian delivery

Inland truck from port or airport to Winnipeg and across Canada — door-to-door or port-to-door, after release or in bond to an inland sufferance point.

About us

Canadian bonded freight forwarder

Xiongbuy Logistics is based in Canada. We are a bonded freight forwarder for the China–Canada corridor: ocean and air from China, in-bond inland movement when cargo should not clear at the first port, customs coordination, and delivery across Canada.

We move cargo for Canadian importers bringing goods in from China, for China-side shippers selling into Canada, and for 3PL partners who need a bonded forwarder on this lane rather than a second sales desk. The work is one corridor. We do not list offices or countries we do not operate.

On the China side we typically book from the ports and airports that already handle most Canada-bound cargo: Shanghai, Ningbo, Shenzhen / Yantian, Qingdao, Xiamen, and Tianjin on the ocean; PVG, CAN, SZX, and PEK / PKX in the air. That is origin coverage, not a claim that we staff those cities.

On the Canadian side, ocean cargo typically arrives at Vancouver, Prince Rupert, or Montreal. Air cargo typically arrives at YVR or YYZ. From there we either arrange release at the first port of arrival, or move the cargo in bond to an inland sufferance point so it can clear closer to the consignee.

Bonded freight forwarder means we have posted security with CBSA so we can file house bills and move cargo in bond. It is not a customs-broker licence and not a Customs Bonded Warehouse (CBW) number. We do not claim CIFFA or NVOCC status on this site. CARM account work and entry filing sit with a licensed broker — we coordinate those steps; we do not file as the broker.

Clearance choice

In-bond versus clear at the first port

Clear at the first port of arrival when the broker of record and the delivery point both sit at that gateway. Vancouver, Prince Rupert, and Montreal are the ocean gateways we typically use; YVR and YYZ are the usual air arrivals.

Move in bond when the consignee is inland, when the broker files from an inland office, or when cargo should stay under bond until it is closer to delivery. That movement uses our CBSA security and a sufferance facility. Release still happens through a licensed customs broker. We coordinate CARM timing; we do not file the entry.

Freight questions

Questions & answers

Bonded freight forwarding on the China–Canada corridor: what we do, what we coordinate, and how to start.

01.
In Canada, a bonded freight forwarder has posted security with CBSA. That lets us file house bills and move cargo in bond beyond the first port of arrival, including between sufferance warehouses. House-bill reporting on this lane is typically ACI / eHBL for ocean and ACI for air. It is not a licensed customs broker, and it is not a Customs Bonded Warehouse (CBW) licence. We do not claim CIFFA or NVOCC status on this site.
02.
Clear at the first port of arrival when the broker of record and the delivery point both sit at that gateway, and the cargo can be released there. Move in bond when the consignee is inland, when the broker files from an inland office, or when cargo should not be released until it is closer to the delivery point. In-bond movement uses our CBSA security; release still happens through a licensed customs broker.
03.
FCL (full container) is usually cleaner when you have the volume: one box, one consignee, less handling at origin CFS and destination. LCL (less than container) shares a container and suits smaller lots. The break point depends on CBM, weight, and the sailing — not a fixed rule. We quote both on the China–Canada lane. Send CBM and weight and we will say which is the better buy.
04.
Ocean cargo from China typically arrives at Vancouver, Prince Rupert, or Montreal. Air cargo typically arrives at YVR (Vancouver) or YYZ (Toronto). Inland truck then runs to Winnipeg and across Canada — after release, or in bond to an inland sufferance point. We will name the gateway on the quote rather than promising a port we have not booked.
05.
Email support@xiongbuy.com or use the quote form. Include origin, Canadian destination, ready date, pieces / CBM / weight, commodity and HS if known, incoterm, and whether cargo should clear at the first port or move in bond. Canada operations replies by email — there is no public phone. A booking is not created until we confirm it in writing.

More questions

House bills, CARM, and who we work with

Straight answers on documents, brokerage, transit, and who this corridor is for.

How is a sufferance warehouse different from a CBW?

A general warehouse holds cargo that has already cleared. A sufferance warehouse holds cargo pending CBSA release. A Customs Bonded Warehouse is a separate licence that can defer duty for a longer period. We are a bonded freight forwarder: we can hold and move cargo under bond and we coordinate storage with the right facility. We do not quote a CBW licence number.

What is a house bill on a China–Canada shipment?

The house bill is the forwarder’s document — ocean HBL or air HAWB — that names the shipper and consignee we are moving for. CBSA needs that house-bill data (ACI / eHBL, depending on mode) so the cargo can arrive, move in bond, or be presented for release. The master bill is the carrier’s document. We issue or arrange the house bill; we do not treat that filing as a customs-broker entry.

Do you file CARM or act as the customs broker?

No. CARM account work and entry filing sit with a licensed customs broker. We coordinate those steps: house bill, commercial invoice, packing list, and the timing of arrival so the broker can file. We are not claiming a CBSA broker licence, and we do not file as the importer’s broker.

How long does ocean versus air take?

Ocean from China to a Canadian west-coast gateway is typically a matter of weeks, plus inland time. A Montreal arrival is usually longer on the water. Air is typically a matter of days to YVR or YYZ, plus clearance and delivery. We do not publish guaranteed transit days — sailings, flights, and CBSA holds move. Ask for a current estimate on your lane.

Who is this service for?

Canadian importers bringing cargo in from China, China-side shippers selling into Canada, and 3PL partners who need a bonded forwarder on this corridor. We stay on China–Canada. If the cargo is restricted (batteries, chemicals, food, plant or animal products), ask first — we will say whether we can handle it before you book.
